Since he burst on the scene in 2003 in the bowels of a massive barrel at Shipsterns, he became obsessed with big waves. Brenden has travelled all around the world in the search of the biggest, most powerful, hollow and dangerous caverns on earth. Australia, Tasmania, Tahiti, Ireland, Canary Island, … wherever the BIG WAVE is waiting to turn up he is already paddling. He has became in one of the pionners of big wave bodyboarding, even though he keeps blowing everyone’s mind in small and mid-wave surfing with his depured style and inimitable flow.

Simon Murphy, the Aussie who grew up in the wilderness of South Oz and took up roots on the Gold Coast honing his tube riding skills at Australia’s premier beach break South Strad. Not satisfied with being a “1 spot wonder” he took off on his first travel way back in 95. He froths on the joys of surfing new slabs and learning about the different customs and lifestyles in the different countries these slabs may be found. Whilst he is the veteran of the pack what he brings is experience and the free-spirited travel culture to our team. He has spent the past 14 years under the radar, surfing all the best known boogie waves but also some of the most amazing “out of the way” places on the planet. He has also discovered and pioneered waves in Japan, Tonga and the Canary Islands. Murph loves the DK but also enjoys riding heavy below sea level slabs on his belly. For this the SM Pro model offers one of the most functional versatile boards on the market today. From the thumping slabs of Fronton in Europe to the fun beachies back on the Gold Coast his board is viable in all conditions.

Eric Gamez was born in Morroco in 1980, where he grew up bodyboarding reef breaks in Dar Bouazza, near Casablanca. When he got to France, he decided to make bodyboard his way of life, and his art. Hes in love with the sea, and this relationship sent him to surf the best waves in the planet, such as Pipeline, Teahuppo, Shark Island, Puerto Escondido, just to name a few… Hes best known for his free riding, huge style, and big air tricks. Besides being de Tow Out French Champion in 2008, hes commited to the developing of bodyboard, by making his own films.

This 29 yr old Brazilian from in Rio de Janeiro with more than 17 years in the sport was the first bodyboarder in the world who executed #1 720 Air Reverse recorded. Anyone who watched Jose surfing might think he´s loco. “The bigger the better” seems to be his unique thinking. However he´s a very calm and patient person. Having scored very big sessions in Chopo or Itacoatiara, Jose doesnt forget the air-thing. Not happy with dropping insane waves he´s always trying new manoeuvres in these supa-sessions, obiosuly, never forgetting the style.

Kiko Saraiva

29 years old, and 18 bodyboarding, Kiko grew up surfing in Portugal and at early age start travelling in the search of better waves, when he turned 15, there was one surf trip that marked his desteny, he went to Hawaii and surfed with best riders at GOB – Pipeline Bodyboarding Championship, beeing one of the yougest ever to enter the event, after that, he decided he wanted to be part of the bodyboarding “scene”. He traveled all over the world in search of waves and the trill of discovering new places and peoples. He was part of the production crew that filmed the first portuguese bodyboard movie back in 2002, “Roots”. Since then kiko has been working on the production of documentaries. After almost 3 years in Madrid, Spain he moved back to Lisbon and to surf Ericeira, Supertubes, and Nazaré. some of the best spots of Europe. His model was made specialy for riders looking for a techinical board for all type of waves conditions.

Rui Ferreira

Rui Ferreira, 27 years old and born in Matosinhos, Portugal. He was a pro rider for several years and achieved many Nacional Champion Titles, One European Title, and he also was Vice-Champion of the World. He also has on his CV two finals at the Pipe Masters, the most important event on the world Circuit. Rui has already maid several trips, but the most important ones were to Indonesia, Irland, France, Hawaii, the Canary Islands, Reunion Islands, Australia and Brazil. After so many years being active he took a 3 year period to rest and set new goals. Now in 2009 he is back! Stronger, Better, he is at the top of his game. The best thing about him is that he is always happy with himself and with the World, that is RESPECTable!
