WHO MAY ENTER
Contest is open to anyone between 12 and 30 years old living in Australia.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
+ Videos will be uploaded to Vimeo* platform (When uploading, don´t forget to tick up "Allow other people to download the source video")
*The reason we choose Vimeo is because it allow us to download the submited video, preserving its original quality, unlike other popular online video platforms, like Youtube, which make it worse than original. However, you can also take advantage of the numerous free online hosting solutions and send us the link provided. Here you have a number of them: This is the option if you own a web server or you decide to take advantage of popular free online hosting solutions, like Rapidshare, Megaupload, Filefactory, Mihd, Quick- sharing, Sendspace, Gigasize, Badongo, MyDataBus, Sendover, Yousendit, Spread-it, Zupload, Megashares, Mooload, Uploading, ...
+ There´s no any file format or video size requirement. If possible, please provide a video file with big quality; it has not to be DVD quality, but good enough to watch on-line. The better the quality of the video, the better it would be appreciated.
+ Entrant is solely responsible for the Video Entry he/she submits for the Contest. Video Entry must be origi- nal, unpublished, and Entrant must own all right, title, and interest in the video and any elements Entrant includes in the video, such as photographs, video footage, music tracks and the like. Neither Respect Bodyboards nor Movement are responsible of any claim/fued relating to this content.
+ Each entrant may submit only one video resume. The submission deadline is 20th November.
+ By entering the Contest, entrant represents, acknowledges and warrants that: he has the permission from the owner(s) of the video to submit it; the owner(s) of the video accept/s all the terms & conditions of the Contest; the video has never been published in any media or medium; no other party has any right, title, claim or interest in the video.
+ Videos submitted will be online showcased during 1 month at an specific Contest website.
+ Videos will be judged in accordance with the Respect Bodyboards™ staff own criteria
SENDING
The Vimeo link (or any other webhosting link) must be sent to au.putyournamehere@respectbodyboards.com attaching the name, age and a mail contact of the featured rider, this is, the Entrant.
JUDGING
+ Once the contest period expires (20/11/09) , all the videos which comply with the requirements above will be uploaded to an specific Contest website so as to be rated.
+ Anyone in the Internet will be able to participate in this rating. The way to rate will consist of a system of score.
+ After 1 month of public showcasing, the 5 best rated video resumes will be meticulously evaluated by Respect Bodyboards™ & Movement staff.
+ The winner will be chosen on 20/12/09 and published both on Respect Bodyboards™ & Movement Mag website by 20/12/09. The winner will also be notified by mail.
CONTEST PRIZES
The entrant winner will be awarded with one year´s Respect Bodyboards™ sponsorship valued at AUD $5000.
LICENSE
Selected entry may be published by Respect Bodyboards™ in marketing materials, or on their websites, or in any other medium, at Respect Bodyboards discretion. Respect Bodyboards™ also reserves the right to edit, modify, reproduce, publish, distribute or otherwise use the entry and all elements of such entry in any media now or hereafter known, without restriction, including commercially using the entry to fullest extent
possible in perpetuity, without additional consideration, notification, permission to entrant or any third party. Credits will be given to the editor & others when possible.
CONDITIONS
Certain restrictions may apply. Entries are void if Respect Bodyboards™ determines the video to not be an original, or if the entries are illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, counterfeit, produced in error, obtained through fraud or theft or do not meet the video requeriments outlined above.
Participants also agree (a) to be bound by these Official Rules; and (b) that the decisions of the Respect Bodyboards™ & Movement staff are final on all matters relating to the Contest. In the event that the selected winner is ineligible or refuses the prize, the prize will be forfeited and Respect Bodyboards™, in its sole discretion, may choose whether to award the prize to another winner.
